Meanhile, the trio chatted and cuddled.

The Kitchen
Gráinne and her mother were in the kitchen. It was dark outside, yet it was about 6pm. Gráinne's mother tried to sound sweet and sound as if she was worried for her, but the teenager kept saying "I'm fine" or ignoring her completely.
Soon, her mother started to cry and Gráinne felt bad. But she didn't do anything.
Gráinne's mother apologized, and answered some of Gráinne's broken-hearted questions. Atleast now they came to a clearing.
The Door
Gráinne's mother was about to leave, and Gráinne herself felt a lot: sadness, happiness, confusion and clearace. And so did her mother.
The girl was offered to come live in New York, and the mother was offered to stay, but both requests were declined.
Suddenly, Gráinne's faher called an said that Sandra and the boys had gone missing.
Chapter 12
Sandra, Tom and Johnny woke up in a cold situation. It was morning, the fire had gone out and the dogs were still a bit drouzy. They chatted and hoped, that they'd be rescued.
And like a miracle, Atki's snowmobile and Kalle's sleigh was heard. The two had come to rescue them. Sandra told them that she couldn't move, and was put onto Kalle's sleigh. Meanwhile the boys got to ride on the snowmobile.
In the airport, everyone united: The parents and the children. Sandra was now in a wheelchair.
The boys had gotten a toy-husky, and told Gráinne that they were getting an actual one. Gráinne said, "Big deal.", which made her father laugh.
