Tom, Johnny and Kalle had stopped with their sleigh, and were now camping. They were giving dog food and water, and giving them rest, while the dogs panted loudly. Tom and Johnny learned the dogs' names.
After some time, they stated moving again. They were near a new lake, now. Kalle showed them the visitors' house, a wooden one. The boys went in and had hot chocolate, while waiting for others to come.
Hours passed, and most of the people had already gathered into the woodhouse. They were all chatting and dinking hot chocolate. But the boys were concerned.
The only one missing was Sandra. Aki and Kalle had gone searching for her, but no luck.
Then, the boys decided, ignoring all the protests of the adults, that they should go and look for their mother themselves.
Johnny and Tom set he dogs ready, and went off into the forest. It was dark, cold and stormy. The kids experienced alot of pain (cause of the trees, bushes and snow), and were getting hints that they were being followed.
Soon, they found their mother, who had told them that she fell of the edge and broke her leg. The boys helpedher, and set up a campfire, hoping that they would soon be found.
-Meanwhile with Rosemary and GrĂ¡inne-
Rosemary tried to pick up conversations with her daughter, but she kept ignoring her, answering with short quotes or telling her mean things, which were mostly caused by the fact that she was heartbroken. There were touching moments, and GrĂ¡inne got some answers to her much-waited questions, but due to her short nerves and Rosemary's instant weeping, they couldn't go far with dialouges.
The daughter and mother argued, and they both tried to make eachother clear and heard, and to make sure that the other is understanding their pain and sorrow.
My thoughts:
All of those chapters were really interesting. I wanted to keep reading all the time! The drama rose, and I felt more and more interested in the charecters and story. Since, again, this takesplace in two different situatons, I sometimes tend to get annoyed because the chapters end to soon.
Other than that, this is an amazin book, and I love readng it, for its drama and adventure!
Author's Note:
For some odd reason, my computer wouldn't save the progress I made with this post. So I had to re-write everything 3 times. I hope it's understood.
